April 2, 2026 / Jeffrey Bennett / Jeff in the Media, Radio/Podcast Interviews

By Lynn Ware Peek & Scott Greenberg
Cool Science Radio

Astrophysicist Jeffrey Bennett talks about the vast scale of the universe and humanity’s place within it. In his book, “The Scale of the Universe,” he uses concepts like the “cosmic calendar” to make immense distances and timelines more understandable. He suggests that recognizing our small place in the cosmos can inspire greater humility, empathy and shared responsibility on Earth.
