The release of Max Goes to the Moon marked the launch of a new company called Big Kid Science. The goal of the company is to create first-class products that will capture and promote children's enthusiasm for science. The key to success at Big Kid Science lies in its unique partnership between scientists, publishers, and designers: every Big Kid Science product will be developed and reviewed by scientists to ensure the highest possible quality of science education, while the publishing and design team will ensure that the products are entertaining and beautiful at the same time.

More important, Big Kid Science will solve a critical problem facing parents today. The #1 problem in children's science products is that while many available products are outstanding, many others teach science poorly (and we've seen numerous cases where key scientific concepts are presented in ways that are downright wrong). Because most people are not trained in science, the average parent has no means of distinguishing the good products from the poor ones --- and that is where Big Kid Science comes in. Because all Big Kid Science products will be developed, designed, and reviewed by scientists, parents will know that Big Kid Science products can always be trusted.
